I'm a focused young lady who now understands that I don't have to fit the mold of what others have mapped out for
me. I can do what I love to do each and every day without apology. My grandfather, J.C. Clay, was a renowned barber
within and around the St. Louis Metropolitan area. He owned his own business and provided opportunities of employment
for other barbers to lend their services to the community alongside himself. I remember studying his techniques and
methods every chance I got. It didn't seem to be work to him. It was his artform. So now I take it upon myself to continue
his legacy by creating my own. Barbering is a beautiful way to cater to both, the community and the individual,
alike. I plan on being the best barber possible. With the guidance and support of my God, my family and my friends,
I am sure this is a goal that is soon to be accomplished!
